Transcendent Realities

Here's my latest "masterpiece". ;-)
(I will add my usual disclaimer here that I know it's not high art, but I do like playing with paint...even if I usually stash the finished products under the bed.)

This one has a little quote in it that I like...the photo is pretty lousy, so it's not really readable.
It says:

"The whole of nature amounts to no more than a symbol of
transcendent realities."

-Rene Guenon-

I like that.
And I believe it's true.

All the ordinary, everyday objects, people, and mundane forms of nature that we see with our eyes are simply clever disguises.

Locked within every single object in creation, from the lowliest pebble to the most regal lion, beats the living, pulsing, powerful force that is the intelligence and source of all that is.

All matter, even the matter that seems most solid and substantial,
is nothing but spinning, living, pulsating, intangible
energy.

Wow.

Every time I think of it, it amazes me all over again.
